Fred MacAulay presented MacAulay and Co. on BBC Radio Scotland for almost 18 years. He was the first ever Scottish compere at the Comedy Store in London and has been a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe and comedy festivals worldwide. Radio 4 appearances include I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, Just a Minute and The News Quiz. On BBC Television he has appeared on Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News For You. Winner of the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award 2024, Susie McCabe took her first steps into comedy on a drunken dare. After a successful career in construction, she has cemented herself as one of the rising stars of UK stand-up. She is consistently one of the fastest selling acts at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival and has collected multiple Scottish Comedy Awards for Best Headliner and Best Show for her solo show Domestic Disaster, which had a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. Her raconteur style and sharp punchlines make this Glaswegian one to watch.

Gareth is a Scottish stand-up comedian making a steady name for himself on the British comedy scene. A regular in Edinburgh Fringe showcases, he has supported Iain Stirling on tour and is currently supporting Tom Stade for a third year running. On TV and radio he has appeared on BBC Scotland’s Comedy Underground, STV’s Edinburgh Festival show and BBC Radio 4. He hosts two podcasts and his debut stand-up special amassed over 20,000 YouTube views. His 2023 Edinburgh show Belter was long-listed for Best Show at the ISH Comedy Awards, and his 2024 show Modern Man earned him a nomination for the same award. “Naturally adept; produces gales of laughter.” British Comedy Guide

Jojo is a TV warm-up act and has opened for Jonathan Pie for the last three years, including two London West End theatre runs. She has supported John Bishop, Jason Manford and Jenny Eclair, and starred on BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Jojo’s quick-fire gags and truthful storytelling have seen her performing throughout Europe, the Middle East and Australia. A repeat favourite on the military comedy base tour, she won the 2020 Scottish Comedy Award for Best Show and was a finalist in British Comedian of the Year 2021. Des McLean is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian and TV and radio presenter based in Glasgow. He has toured America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and performed at the iconic Riviera in Las Vegas. Des co-hosted the Clyde 1 Breakfast Show for six years, winning three Sony Radio Academy Awards. On stage, he has played lead roles in critically acclaimed productions including Bend it like Bertie, which toured nationally and transferred to the Westgate Theater in Las Vegas. In 2017 he created the online sitcom The Glasgow Trip, nominated for best online comedy at the Scottish Comedy Awards in 2019. “God I love him.” Billy Connolly

Edinburgh’s own Gareth Waugh is one of Scotland’s most beloved comedians, known for captivating storytelling, razor-sharp punchlines and an affable stage presence. His accolades include winning Radio Forth’s Big Comedy Audition and being a three-time finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year competition. On TV, Gareth has appeared on BBC’s Scot Squad and hosted Comedy Underground. BBC Breaking the News star Jay Lafferty is a regular face on BBC Scotland. A performance on Breaking the News saw her hit the front page of The New York Times. Crowned Best Compere at the Scottish Comedy Awards in 2019, she was later nominated for the same award at the Chortle Comedy Awards. Jay is the established host of Edinburgh Fringe cult late night show Late N Live at the Gilded Balloon. Performing since 2005, her comedy has been described as chocolate covered hand grenades. Clever material delivered with effortless charm and a bite every bit as bad as its bark.

Ray Bradshaw is an international multi-award winning comedian who has performed shows all over the world. He is about to embark on his fourth UK tour. ‍

Ray is a regular feature on UK television and can be heard on national radio weekly. He has previously been support forJohn Bishop on his arena tour as well as numerous times for Frankie Boyle.

Liam Dolan is a highly popular Scottish comedian, impressionist, actor and television presenter, renowned for his work in variety. Affectionately known as “Mr Pavilion,” Liam is a prominent staple of the Glasgow and Ayrshire entertainment scenes, with over 30 years in showbusiness to his name. His versatility and natural warmth have made him a firm favourite with audiences across Scotland, and his talent for impressions and comedy has seen him grace some of the country’s most iconic stages.
